Registration for folks who want to actually fly the Huey!
Where and When
This year, the Huey Reunion will be held June 21 through the 26, 2022 at MARPAT Aviation, Rt. 17N, Logan County Airport, Logan WV 25601. Airport ID is 6L4.
What is the Huey Reunion?
Owner/Operator of MARPAT Aviation, Mike Holbrook, has hosted this event for the last six years. We want all helicopter (especially Huey) enthusiasts to have an opportunity to fly/ride in this historical helicopter. Remember everyone here is a volunteer and working hard to help give you the best experience possible.
I don't want to do the flying, I just want to ride
Great! No need to make a reservation...just show up! Rides will be given on a first come, first served basis between 8:30am and 5:30pm. Show up, make a small donation and have a great time!
(Children must be old enough to wear their own seatbelt, children will not be held on an adult’s lap.)

Take the right seat and YOU can fly N98F!
- You DO NOT need to be a pilot to make a reservation to fly!
- Reservations will be for a 30-minute flight.
- Each right seat flight requires a $250/30-minute donation to pay for fuel.
- You can book as many 30-minute flights as you wish, but in fairness to all, we ask that you do not book back-to-back flights. Please spread your 30-minute flights out over the day and/or the week.
- We ask that you provide as much contact information as possible: name, cell phone, email.
Scheduling and Cancellations
Flying is always dependent on weather, maintenance, and scheduling. As each day proceeds there WILL BE DELAYS. We will make every effort to get you flying during the time slot reserved.
- We request you contact us one hour prior to your scheduled flight, preferable in person, if not by phone, so that we can provide an update on your takeoff time.
- You MUST be checked in NO LATER THAN 30 minutes prior to takeoff time. Otherwise the next pilot up will fly and you will be bumped back to the next available flying slot.
- OPSO may ask you to be flexible with your chosen time if possible...it is challenging to accommodate everyone and we are all volunteers, so please be patient with us.
- Check-in and briefing (mandatory) will take place at the MARPAT Aviation office.
Deadline
Online reservations will be TURNED OFF at 0600 hours for that day’s flying. To make a same day reservation you must contact the Operations Officer or MARPAT Aviation. You are always welcome to show up and see if we have space available.
